It also contains anti-inflammatory Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) as well as Stearidonic Acid (SDA) that lowers cholesterol profiles.
These properties could assist with problems associated with heart, liver, kidney, bowel, gallbladder, arthritis, immunity, auto-immune disorder, hormonal balance, reproduction, PMS, menopause, allergies, metabolism, nerve and brain function, anxiety, attention span, muscle recovery, physical performance, lactic acid reduction in joints, eczema & skin health. It is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-microbial and anti yeast.
Hemp oil contains more desirable EFAs than flax and can be used continuously without developing a deficiency or other imbalance of Omega 3. Hemp is the only edible seed containing GLA (gamma linolenic acid) and magnesium-rich chlorophyll, both of which are beneficial in helping with PMS conditions including breast tenderness, bloating, cramping and other discomforts.
Flax seed oil has a ratio of 1:4 ratio respectively which does not promote the optimum health balance, especially if used long-term (having a diet high in Omega 6 can actually be a contributing factor to inflammation).
This delicious, nutritious oil is produced in conjunction with our New Zealand's partners, the largest and leading producer of Industrial Hemp in the Southern Hemisphere.
